The war-torn city of Garlemald is one of the first zones you can complete, becoming fully available at level 83 during the Main Scenario. Simple Pleasures – Level 85 Main Scenario Quest Unfortunately, that’s the same spot gated by the Main Scenario Quest, so wait a little while before trying to find your way down. Some of its Aether Compass directions can be a little confusing, as the device will try to lead you down into a swampy area early on. Let the Good Times Troll – (X:21.1, Y:21.4)īonds of Adamant(ite) – Level 88 Main Scenario QuestĮndwalker’s trading post is another early location you’ll visit but remains unavailable for flight until level 85. Aether Currents here aren’t hard to find but zoom in carefully when moving between teleports, as some of the locations require you to use an elevator until you’re able to fly. You’ll enter Labyrinthos early on during FF14 Endwalker’s Main Scenario questline, but it’ll be one of the last areas you can unlock flying in with its level 88 quest requirement. And just in case you missed it-yes, Square Enix did move your Aether Compass location. The big blue markers denote quest locations on your map, and you can use your Aether Compass to find those hidden points for attuning. Labyrinthos, Thavnair, Garlemald, Mare Lamentorum, Elpis, and Ultima Thule all require you to find and attune to ten Aether Currents and complete five quests. To unlock flying in every zone, you’ll need to complete your collection of Aether Currents by progressing the Main Scenario, accepting tasks from NPCs, and finding stray currents scattered throughout the map. This last Aether current is located at X: 11.4, Y: 19.0.Once again, Final Fantasy XIV will have you take to the skies with its new Endwalker expansion. You can reach this one shortly after attuning to the previous one. You’ll come across this current when completing the main scenario quest called “Once Forged.” It’ll wait for you at X: 10.4, Y: 34.7. This one is at X: 17.9, Y: 16.6, near the second to last Aetheryte you’ll attune to. The first one will be hidden behind a building at X: 22.5, Y: 25.1. You’ll naturally come close to them while completing main scenario quests. The last Aether current of the first half of the map is located at X: 15.1, Y: 13.5, Z: 3.0, on the Western corner of the map in the second level. This Aether current is located at X: 15.1, Y: 13.5, Z: 3.0. To be protected, switch to your DoL class if you have one over level 73 and activate the Sneak effect not to be bothered by the monsters. The current is located under it, so you’ll have to go through the cavern first.īe mindful of the monsters around it. Since it’s located at X: 31.4, Y: 16.6, Z: 2.9, you might try to look for it when you’ll enter the map using your compass, but it’ll only lead you to a ledge. This current is nearest to your starting area and is located at X: 28.3, Y: 6.0, Z: 4.3. It’ll be available on the round arch you’ll unlock after going through the cavern. “Lost Little Troll” is the only sidequest available to unlock a current before unlocking the second half of the map. To unlock flying in Labyrinthos, you’ll have to complete five special quests and attune to 10 Aether currents. All Aether currents locations in Endwalker‘s Labyrinthos Here are all the Aether currents and quests in Labyrinthos. But it’ll take time: although it’s one of the first areas you’ll discover during the expansion, it will be one of the last where you’ll be able to fly since half of the map will be blocked until level 89. For that reason, you’ll want to learn to fly in this area as quickly as possible. Labyrinthos isn’t the largest map in the expansion, but it’s built on several levels. The region will be divided into two areas: Old Sharlayan and Labyrinthos. New lands have been introduced with Final Fantasy XIV‘s latest expansion Endwalker, and Sharlayan is one of them.
